Okay, if you are looking for a great workout that is fun, try Wii Active. I used the Wii Fit and found that I was not getting the workout I needed after awhile. It started to bore me.
Then Wii came out with the Wii Active and I have been sore ever since! The pre-programed workouts are great, but I prefer to make my own. I have several cardio, sports, lower and upper body routines that add up to 30 minutes. The game comes with a band which helps a lot. I do recommend purchasing a quality one for a few dollars at Walmart, etc to get the most out of the band exercises. Some of the exercises can be...
read full review »The new Wii EA Active Personal trainer is amazing. I started the 30 day challenge 5 days ago and am really getting a workout. The software is so good that I can personalize it, and the trainer is either male or female depending on your preference. The trainers are tough but good. The software tells you when and how to get the most out of your workout. And it corrects you so you learn how to do the movements properly. You can set it from beginner to advanced so it grows as your skill gets better. The Wii EA website has blogs, encouragement and advice. You can pick Wii Active almost anywhere...

I haven't sweated this much since I was playing sand volleyball in high school!!!
I had been doing the treadmill and needed more of a challenge but wasn't challenging myself. :) THIS makes you work your butt off! I use the female trainer and if you don't do it right she tells you! She also tells you when you are doing a good job!
The variety of scenery is nice as well as the variety of exercises! I love how they work different muscles as well as keep your heart rate up. I started on HARD because I needed someone to kick my butt into shape...
read full review »Wii Active is one of the coolest products that I have purchased, EVER!! It is an awesome workout! I bought it with the intention of attempting to make my workout just a little fun (I hate exercising, I get bored really fast). But, Wii Active is really, really fun. I started out on the medium workout level doing the thirty day challenge. I am not totally out of shape but it kicked my butt. My legs and upper body really hurt the next day. I kept at it anyway! I got to the point I couldn't wait to workout. I absolutely love it!! The only problem I had was with the leg strap. ...
read full review »When I got this wii active for my birthday in July I was soo excited. When I first started the 30 day challenge on medium I felt like i could do the harder version. I stopped the first 30 day challenge and started on the hard. The game comes with a rubber band workout accessory but I decided to use my own 10 lbs hand weights instead. It is kinda complicated at first to hold both hand weights and also the wii remote and nunchuck but i eventually got used to it. I only have about another week left in this 30 day challenge but I am thinking about starting it over again when this is done. You can...
read full review »The Wii Active is an interesting "game" workout. Although a bit pricey, the Active comes with a leg strap to place the nunchuk and a resistance band. Before reviewing the game itself, I want to comment on the accessories that come with Wii Active. The leg strap is okay, but sometimes its tough to fit the nunchuk into the pocket and if you're not careful, you may stretch the pocket too much and the sewing may come loose. The resistance band is okay, although not of the highest quality in my opinion. I realized that after several workouts, the bands would stick together from the moisture - so what...
read full review »I heard from a friend that had Wii Active that she loved it and so when I happened across it on sale I had to pick it up. Wow, am I glad that I did. The 'game' is set up as a personal trainer that will put you through a plethora of different exercises from jogging in place to shooting hoops. You can also design your own workout program instead of chosing from one of the stock programs given. The game comes with a resistance band and a sleeve that wraps around your thigh to hold the nunchuck controller for some exercises.
I must say that I sometimes have a bit of an issue with the...
read full review »The EA Sports Active for Nintendo Wii is a great game. As a user of this game and Wii Fit, I find this game a step up on the calorie-burning spectrum. I love that you can use the Wii Fit Board if you have it, but it isn't required for this game. Sometimes, the balance board can add an interesting twist to some of the exercises on this game. Also, there are a ton of exercises to choose from. I personally am doing the 30-day challenge, but also do one of my own workouts afterwards. I love playing sports and there are all kinds of sport exercises to do also such as volleyball, basketball,...

I've had the Wii for almost a year now, and have loved the yoga poses, hula hooping, etc, and although it felt like a workout, I never felt that I was really burning a sweat during the workout. Then, I bought EA Sports Active.....watch out!
I was expecting something similar to the Wii Fit games I was used to playing, but boy was I in for a surprise. I tried the 40 minute leg workout, thinking "this will be easy", but no it was not. It was a grueling 50 minutes of lunges, squats, side lunges, squat jumps, lunge jumps...
read full review »The Wii Active was the best 10,000 points I have ever used from my VISA rewards program. This game/fitness activity is the only workout plan that I have stuck to in my life. So far, since aquiring the program back in July, I have completed two thirty day challenges and have lost 5 pounds. I love that you can create your own workouts as well. My boyfriend who is not into working out more than he has to, loves the 'sports workouts' i have put together. He will work out with me more times now than ever before. I have also since modified a few of the routines, adding light weights to my wrists and...

I have played Active Sports and in my opinion, it's better than Wii Fit! Active Sports gives you lots of workout and you really get an excellent workout.
