If you know anything about video games then you know Guitar Hero is awesome. OK, not just awesome but really F'N AWESOME, baby! Who doesn't want to play with a sexy game guitar controller and be a part of a virtual rock in your own living room, eh? All that is cool but Rock Band here by EA Games takes the idea even further. Getting this game complete in the giant box not only gives you a wireless game guitar like in Guitar Hero but you also get a Microphone and cool Drum set too. Oops, I think some of my readers out there just crapped their pants! Yes, the game lets you create your own rock band right in your own house and it comes loaded with real music tracks and addictive career modes too.

Popping this hot momma in lets you create your own fictional rock band and you get to go out on tour to get more cash and better gigs. The cool thing is you can play alone or with up to four friends in four different ways. If you want to sing the game plays just like a more rockin' version of Karaoke Revolution. You know the deal, eh? As the words scroll across the screen you have to match them with the right pitch of your voice; fun stuff! If you wanna be Guitar or Bass the game plays just like Guitar Hero and you have to hit the notes at the right time but the Rock Band controller comes with 5 extra little buttons to create some new sounds. Last but definitely not least is the sweet orgasm like drum set. Here you get to wrack away at four multi-coloured panels and even a foot petal. It's probably the hardest of the four but it can be the best one to play too. The replay value is here is just so damn good and ya better have an excuse ready for not going to work.

The game wouldn't rock if there was no actually rock music. Good thing you get stuff from the Rolling Stones (Gimme Shelter), KISS (Detroit Rock City), Metallica (Enter Sandman), and many more tracks that will either rip off your boyfriend's shirt or remove your girlfriend's skirt! There are more songs to unlock the more you play plus you can even buy some at the Playstation store but I doubt you'll want to spend anymore cash after getting the game.

That brings me to one of Rock Band's few problems here. The complete thing is a massive 200 bucks! Sure, you're getting a lot for the money but you can buy some real rock gear with that kind of scratch. Also with all the goodies ya get here you better have the room to play to begin with and some really patience neighbors as well because we there is no way to play this quietly. Of course you got to play Rock Band at full blast so I say screw them! If you want a really great party game and you have the cash then it's time to leave the boring world behind and this pick up.

Rock Band overall rating: 92/100

For 1 to 4 players
Rated (T) for Teen
graphics: 5
sound: 9
gameplay: 10
replay: 10
