e.l.f. Earth & Water Regular & Waterproof Mascara Duo Reviews

Earlier this year I ordered several cosmetic items from a eyeslipsface.com, or ELF for short.  Most of their items are only a dollar so I ordered several thinking that if they were awful then I hadn't lost much money. Fortunately most everything was very good and only a buck!

One of the items I tried is the Earth & Water Regular & Waterproof Mascara Duo.  The catchy Earth & Water name caught my eye at first but the idea of having two types of mascara in one wand also caught my attention.  I don't generally wear waterproof mascara as I'm not good about taking it off at night and don't like that...

I found the E.L.F Earth & Water Regular and Waterproof Duo Mascara to be well worth a dollar.  However, if was any more than a dollar my opinion of the product wouldn't be the same.  In fact, I found the mascara to look great on my curled lashes and quite volumizing for a product that is only a dollar.  I also liked the convienience of having both a regular and a waterproof formula option in one easy tube.  Unfortunately, the removal process was the deciding factor on whether or not I will choose to purchase this mascara again.  Both the regular and the waterproof formula flaked horribly...

I always thought that e.l.f products were expensive, designer cosmetics.  When I found out that are super cheap, I bought several different things to try out and one of them is the Earth & Water Mascara Duo.

The mascara duo features two different sides of mascara, one regular and the other waterproof.  I was thinking that this was going to be a great product and looked forward to using it...and then I tried it.

Let's see if I can count the reasons why I gave this mascara only 1 solitary star.  First, when you are applying the mascara to your lashes, it does not, define, separate or lengthen

e.l.f.'s Earth & Water Regular & Waterproof Mascara Duo offers two mascaras in one tube : regular and waterproof. I'm not usually too keen on waterproof mascaras, but only because my life situation doesn't really call for it.

However, for $1 I decided I couldn't go wrong. Even though the mascara turned out to be average, I didn't waste a lot of money.

First of all, let me say that both the waterproof and regular mascaras are only so-so. They didn't do much to lengthen or define my lashes, but at least they didn't completely coat my lashes in clumps. I didn't notice anything spectacular with this...

Even though this mascara is cheap, save your dollar and spend it towards something that will actually work. Like they say, you get what you pay for and this mascara is junk. It doesn't work at all. The wand was awful and the mascara was clumpy and gross. I threw it away almost immediately after opening it. What a waste.

The mascaras from e.l.f. are so easy to apply, and look great! especially for the price they are! They don't clump and give great definition and thickening to my lashes. One of the first companies to ever come out with regular and waterproof all in one wand!
