Comments about D'zign - S501 Digital Camera:
This little camera has a lot of functions for being so small. For starters, it has white balance settings for different kinds of light. It has flash settings like automatic, red-eye reduction, slow sync (for getting the foreground and background), fill-in flash (always on), and flash off. It has Black and white, and sepia effects, and you can even put a little digital frame around your picture. There's ten second and two second timers, and even a few games if you get bored with taking pictures. Deleting a picture is easy- you just press "delete", and it only asks you once if you're sure.
There are drawbacks to this camera too, though. The resolution isn't very good, so you can post the result on Facebook, but it won't be good enough to make a larger print of the picture because the quality will be poor. The resolution on the videos is poor. Everything is really far away on the video, but the more times you use zoom the worse the quality gets. Eventually it will get to the point that you can't tell what the videos are of. These are not You tube quality videos.
The camera uses a NP60 rechargable battery that is expensive to replace if it stops holding a charge. So far mine has held out, though.
This was probably considered a pretty good camera five years ago, but digital camera technology has raced ahead in these last few years and far outdistanced this camera.
