Pros

    dusting attachment is great!, Great for pet owners, Attachments work great!, stands easily on it's own

Cons
    Attachments do not stay in place., Hard to push on rugs & thick carpet

Any vacuum that will suck the cheerios, I mean all of them, even the ones he has smashed into dust, off of my toddler's high chair is #1 in my book!  Not to mention suck up everything in site off of any surface.  I do not understand why people say the Dyson does not suck up pine needles???  It sucked up every one of mine.  I do not find that it is easily clogged either.  Ours has only become clogged one time and because the thing comes apart at every conceivable place it was easy to fix.

This is a must have vacuum for parents and pet owners.  Totally worth the price.  We have used and abused ours for about 2 years now and it is still kicking.
