I am so disappointed

a homeowner, Mr. Fix-it, a green thumb, picking up after pets, an moderate investor
Pros

    Easy to push, stands easily on it's own

Cons
    Costs a bit more than other models, It does LOSE suction., It does not work on area rugs

Dyson Vacuum - Upright All Floors Bagless Cyclonic Vacuum — 

I had such high hopes for the Dyson, it worked really really well for about a year and a half and now there are lots of little mechanical things going wrong with it. For the money I don't recommend it. You would be better off buying a brand new $75.00 vaccum every year.

When my wife and I bought the Dyson DC07, we thought it would suck up our kitties. It's been now a couple years, we have to physically push the lower front of the vacume down in order for contact with the carpet. The lower part of the vacume doesn't fall into place in order to get the appropriate amount of suction. It does take forever to suck up kitty litter. Well, guess our kitties are safe now.
