When my husband told me he could get the Dyson Ball DC25 vacuum on discount at work, we jumped at the chance.  We've been needing a new vacuum since we got married, but were never willing to pay the high prices for a good one.  We also didn't want to pay the low prices for a vacuum that would break...

I bought the Dyson25 Animal vacuum. My first choice was the Oreck, but my husband liked the Dyson better. It is a ball vacuum and does move around easy, but I have a Siberian Husky, and she has a lot of hair. The problem with the vacuum is that the static electricity in the carpet makes the hair stick...

The Dyson DC25 is the vacuum.  That's the most precise way to describe this wonder.

I have three pets, and two pet peeves.  The pets are a pair of longhaired cats and a dog.  The pet peeves are having to search for the right cleaner bag at the store, only to have the vacuum still not clean thoroughly enough.  Well, that is not the case with the Dyson.  The Dyson cleans better than any vacuum I've ever had, without the hassle of bags!

My mom is a neat-freak extraordinaire.  She vacuums her home at least two or three times a day.  However, when she came to visit me and borrowed the Dyson,...

I live in the country. My house gets very dusty and dirty really quickly. I had to really think a long time about spending more on my Dyson than other brands of vacumes. I'm sooo glad I decided to buy it. My old vacume would clog up after only a few minutes. I was constantly empting it and hitting the dirt chambers filter to onclog it.  I took my new Dyson out of the box and started vacuming. It never clogs up. The dirt chamber was full in about ten minutes. It was full of fine dirt (about 2" worth that my old vacumes has left behind for years. My sister came to visit and help me clean up my house... review »

We got the Dyson about three months ago and I love it! It picks up more animal hair than any vacuum I've ever owned, and I've had practically one of every brand! I even did a comparison clean with my old rainbow and eureka(cleaned seperate rooms with each one, then ended up going back over it all with the Dyson and it picked up so much stuff the others had left behind!) Now own only the Dyson and am telling everyone how well it works!

I have bought several vacuum cleaners in the past.  My husband had been bugging me to buy the Dyson and I kept holdig off because it was too xpensive.  I finally caved and am glad I did.  I love it!  Easy to use.  Works better than I could ever have expected.  I loke the ball technology too..

ok maybe not, but I don't dread it as much now that I spent the money on this baby (yes it is pricey).  But the truth is I never have to go over a spot twice to make sure I've picked up the dust/dirt, one swipe over an area and it's clean.  In that way I am getting the floor cleaning job done and over with sooner and with much less effort.

Time is money for me and in that way the Dyson DC25 was well worth it.

I absolutely love my Dyson!!  I bought this machine, for myself, for Mother's Day one year and have never looked back.  My husband is a contractor and is ALWAYS bringing in strange dirts.  We have 2 dogs, a rabbit, 3 kids and a husband and this machine takes care of them all.

I have been married for almost 8 years now I have 3 children ages 6, 4, and 3.  We also have a huge black lab that is a harry beast.  She leaves hair every where.  I had always bought other brands of vacuum's that would boast stronger engines and better suctions larger heads for better pick up and all of them would give out after just a short time.  I even had one vacuum that would throw all the dirt up into a little shelf and when I shut it off it would all come falling back out.  So after 7 years my husband made me go buy a Dyson DC25 Animal Ball Upright Vacuum.  This is the best vacuum...

This new Dyson on a ball is unreal what will they think of next. It moves anywhere you need it too.  Dyson has always been a great product, but now this just took it too the next level.  This is a investment that will last a lifetime.  It is well worth the price

I have wanted a Dyson ever since they first came out, but when I went to a store to look at them, it was so heavy I would need one for each level of my house and not enough closet space to store them.

This is under 12 pounds, fits easily in a closet, and is so light it's very easy to carry up stairs. I'll admit I'm not a fan of cleaning but being a female engineer I certainly appreciate well-designed products. This one has many clever features. The cleaning head is low-profile, so it easily hugs floor boards under kitchen cabinets (huge plus!). The ball design is incredibly inventive and so easy...

This vacumn is the most fabulous thing that has ever happened to me. We have two indoor pets at my house and it picks up all the pet hair on every floor surface iny my house, carpet or tile. I will never buy another type of vacumn after owning a Dyson. I would recommend them to anyone with children and pets they leave a lot of debris behind on your floors. I bought the vacumn several years ago, I wanna say about three years ago, and havent had a single problem with it. It is kinda pricy, but it makes up for it in quality. You never have to have it repaired and you never have to buy bags for it....

So every 2 years the old Eureka Vacucum breaks down . Read the reviews on Dyson took the plung.  I've gone from driving a  Honda to a Lexus. For the first time in 30 years of vacuuming I enjoy it.  It's fun the way that ball gets it around.  When I saw what  the suction  got up I couldn't believe it.  We have been living w/filt on the floors/carpet. It got up animal hair that we never knew was there. It's the best Moms day present in my life.  I think I will actually keep my house clean.  It's fun and easy

I am very happy with my Dyson ball vacuum. I have had it for 6 months now and after an initial adjustment to the ball, like the way it handles. My previous vacuum was power driven and the ball makes this vacuum just as easy to push. The attachments are securely stored on the vacuum and the hose is very easy to access. Suction is good and the dirt bin is easily emptied without a big mess. The cord is long enough to allow you to complete most rooms without changing outlets. Finding one on sale makes the Dyson a great deal.

I owned two kirby's before i got my dyson and dyson is not expensive considering what your getting and comparing it to the door to door sales people with there Kirby's etc. You can see what a job it does by the dirt in the canister. I'm amazed by all the dirty in a house with only two people.

I realize it might be a bit heavy with the ball but the ball works just like power steering on your auto. The hose is a little unhandy but still better than dragging along all the attachments you need to get the job done.
