I love my Dyson Animal Vacuum! I never have a loss of suction and that says a lot because we have 4 kids, 2 dogs and other small animals that we clean up after. My daughter and I have long hair so every so often I do flip it over and clean off the roller brushes on the bottom, but I have had to do that with any vacuum we owned. It came with a hard floor attachment, a brush attachment and crevice tool. We use them all! My only complaints would be that the hard floor tool does not attach to the vacuum when not in use and because we are always vacuuming up lots of people and dog hair that sometimes it gets stuck around the top of the canister....I am sure that is probably my fault for not stopping and cleaning it out more often. The canister holds a good amount but I do not always empty it. Sometimes it can be difficult to retract the wand, which drops down into the hose , and I think sometimes the hose compresses when it is on and so I sometimes have to turn off the vacuum to retract the hose and switch back to regular vacuuming.
