Dyson DC17 Animal Vacuum Review

I have five cats and there is always cat hair everywhere.  Actually, you can sometimes find, in a corner somwhere, a hairball that is so large that you actually think it is another animal!  Oh, how awful!!  It didn't seem to matter how often I vacuumed, there was always cat hair around, until I found the Dyson DC17 vacuum.  I had heard that it was a good vacuum but I was a little hesitant to spend close to $500 on a vacuum.  However, I bit the bullet and bought one about eight months ago and I can say, without hesitation, that this is the best vacuum I have ever owned.  You can actually see the cat hair as it swirls around in the bagless canister.  I sometimes have to empty it twice before I am done vacuuming the house, but it is so worth it to know that it is actually getting deep down into the carpets and I am getting a "real" clean and not just a surface clean.  I would recommend the Dyson DC17 to anyone with pets!
