Dyson DC15 Animal Review Summary
Vacuum cleaner reviewers love The Ball by Dyson. The new technology by Dyson means this powerful vacuum cleaner has great suction but is easy to use and handle. It literally turns on a ball. Dust, dirt and pet hairs are history with The Ball. Some vacuum reviewers weren’t too sure that the bagless design would work with a powerful, high end vacuum, but reviewers say Dyson nailed it with The Ball.
disorganized, bargain-loving cat keeper, who hates to vacuum
I have 5 cats and currently live in a tiny house. This was truly a recipe for disaster. Last year after debating with myself long and hard I went all out and bought the Dyson Animal Ball Vacuum. It was the best decision I ever made. — I am not a floor cleaner. I have rugs in my bathroom and kitchen so that I can throw them in the washing machine instead of mopping. I truly would rather replace a floor than clean it. In part, I think this phobia was caused because of the every ten minute clogging of every other vacuum cleaner I have ever owned due to assorted pet…

I was heistant about buying this at first because of the price. I couldn't be happier with my purchase. I am amazed at how well it moves around everything. I hurt my back in an injury two years ago and vaccumming has hurt ever since. When I bought the dyson, I did my entire house without any pain. I also have two small children who dirt attracts to like a magnet. The Dyson has helped clean up and keep everything clean. —…

I absolutely love this vacuum! My friend, who has owned her own cleaning business for years, uses Dyson vacuums. I used hers to vacuum my house after I had just vacuumed it with another brand vacuum that I had and I was shocked at how much dirt had been left behind that her Dyson picked up. Having 2 dogs that are sometimes inside, I needed a good vacuum to get up the dog hair when they start shedding their winter coats. This certainly does the job. The ball really makes vacuuming around objects as easy as a flick of the wrist. I do find it to be a little on…

Overall this vacuum is worth every penny spent. I have had it for 3 years now and it works just as good as the day I bought it! I love the ease of use, the neatness of not having a bag, and the fact that I can see all the pet hair and what else it sucks up as I go. It gives me a good judgement of how much "dirt" there really is on my beige carpeting that the eye cannot see : ) — One of my top 10 items in my household. Cannot clean without it! —…

too busy to make beds, looking for convenience, all about practical, loving this product
Even without pets, I have long hair and have always had a problem with it getting into my carpets and clogging up my vacuum. So after my last vacuum died, I asked around and everyone recommended the Dyson. I checked it out and it's not cheap, but I'd rather pay more for something that's going to last than having to replace it constantly. — — This vacuum is great! It maneuvers so easily and gets my carpets cleaner than any other vacuum I've ever used! And it comes with a ton of different attachments. I love that I can do my stairs without…

Not a fan of housecleaning, value conscious, looking for durability, not rich, Appreciative of clever design, impressed with this product, hate vacuuming, looking for convenience
When my old vacuum (which wasn't that old) bit the dust - literally - after I tried to vacuum our new carpet, we thought it was a good opportunity to try out a Dyson. We shopped around and found a really good deal on the DC15 "The Ball", which is supposed to be much easier to maneuver than a standard model. I have been using my Dyson for over a year now, and found it is all the manufacturer claims it to be. It really is easier to maneuver around furniture, and I'm pleased with the suction power, which makes me feel I'm getting my floors as clean as…

We have two dogs and two girls with very long hair...our floors appeared to have a shaggy white, brown and tan carpet - although we only had hardwood floors! The hair was disgusting. I found using a flip-flop (sandal) and my foot to scrape the hair off of the throw rugs easier than using my vacuum cleaner. — My MIL gave us some "christmas money" early in December; my husband wanted a new car or X-Box or Computer stuff - I immediately chose the Dyson DC15 Animal. Sure - we can say 'who wants a vacuum for christmas????' but my life became so much easier after we brought…

Everyone thought it was not the best gift, but when my husband bought me the Dyson Animal for Christmas 2 years ago, I was over the moon. I had been wanting it so bad, and now it was finally mine :) — — Let me start by saying I hate to vacuum. Probably because I always had such crappy vacuums before. But I love it now. We have a Chocolate Lab that sheds like there's no tomorrow, especially in the hot Florida summer. Well, this vacuum gets every last little piece of dog fur. The sucion is unbelievable. It doesn't fit under some of our lower pieces of furniture, but it still get…

This has got to be the best vaccum for cleaning up animal hair and all other dirt out of carpet and rugs. I have four pugs and they shed all year round. This is the best vaccum I have ever used to get their hair off of furniture, carpet, and rugs. I struggled with my old sweeper. No more, I can clean it all. The bagless feature is fantastic, I just push the button and all my dirt goes into the garage can. I don't have to touch anything dirty. The engineering into the Dyson sweepers is so advanced, all other brands are trying to copy it because…

I never thouhg tmuch about vacuums. We were given one for our wedding shower and used it for 4 years never thinking much about it. The bag would fill up and we replaced it. Then we bought the animal. We used it in one room and almost filled the canister! I nearly had a heart attch and immediatly vacuumed the rest of the house empting the canister several more times. The old vacuum had nothing on this bad boy. It's suction pull up more dirt than I could have imagined we were tracking in. With two kids and two dogs, I want to know we are…

looking for convenience, a cat owner, practical, a woman, impressed with this product, Track in a lot of dirt, willing to pay for quality
I have to say hands-down this is the best vacuum ever created. I bought this vacuum after having an upright Bissell. I vacuumed my stairs once a week. When I brought this home, I had just done the steps the day before. So, that was the first thing I tried. I could NOT believe the amount of dust that was still there. I had to empty the chamber after I got half way through. It was really disgusting actually. If you have someone with allergies, this is the vacuum for you. — The other great thing about this is the "ball" feature. …

Dyson DC-15 The Animal Ball — I have a 9 year old Lab that has sensitive skin. Due to that she sheds... and sheds a lot. I was buying other brands of "animal hair" vacuums, and burning up the motor in them within 12 months. — I finally said, "I'm buying a Dyson!" and I have never been happier. — One of the many great things about this vacuum is that my mother is an asthmetic, and now she can come and visit my house without having to take extra medication, because not only does it pick up the fur, but also the dander. — This is not a cheap vacuum, however,…

I researched many diferent types of vacuums before settling on the "Ball". — I was able to purchase for $400 on Amazon a while back. Great price for the product. — The warranty is the best out there, 5 years. This vacuum is heavy, but is so easy to use. Also, I was skeptical on the bagless feature, but it works just fine. My family has allergies and this cleaner sucks everything up. We can all breathe a little easier. It is amazing on how much "stuff" gtets sucked up weekly, even though I am a neat freak & keep the house spotless. —…

Dyson likes to tout how their vacuums don't loose suction, I'm here to say they do. I regularly have to take mine apart and clean it out and I'm convinced it has nowhere near the suction it had out-of-the-box. I guess fourteen indoor cats is just too much punch for a Dyson. — I think I could've saved myself some $$ and gone with a less expensive vac and had equal performance. —…
