Dyson DC15 Animal Vacuum Review

The Dyson DC15 "Animal" is an amazing machine.  My previous vacuum is a Kirby, no slouch and actually more expensive than the Dyson.  The Dyson is picking up pet hair the Kirby had been leaving behind.  The cyclonic action is wonderful, seeing the dirt accumulate in the clear easy to empty canister is very satisfying.  The unboard tools deploy quickly and easily.  The beater brush can be easily turned off for cleaning hard floors.  The cord is nice and long, if I plug it into a central outlet I can vacuum an entire floor of my house without unplugging.  We have two dogs and three cats and relatives who are allergic, since we started using the animal they can spend quite a bit more time in our house than they used to be able to so the HEPA filtration system is obviously getting the job done.  The onboard tools and extendible attachment hose is also a thing of beauty, when you return the vaccum to the full upright position the beater brush automatically turns off and the suction is diverted to the top of the handle, a quick pull on the hose on the top of the handle and the hose is quickly deployed and ready for action.  It's so easy in the middle of vacuuming a floor you don't hesitate to quickly whip out the wand and hose so you can get in some hard to reach nook or cranny to vacuum up some crud.  This is simply one amazing cleaning machine!
