Dyson DC 14 is a great vacuum.  This vacuum is one of the best home appliance puchases that I could have ever made.  It vacuum carpets very well as well as bare floors.  Bare floors - this is a plus since I have recently remove most of the carpet in my home.  This vacuum is just wonderful.
