Dyson DC14 Vacuum — 

The Dyson dc14 for all floors is a great buy!  It has incredicble suction and is lightweight! It is easy to take apart and clean.  I was impressed with how well it fits around furniture and how close it gets to the wall.  I looked at several vacuums before choosing this one. I am very happy with this vacuum and it make vacuuming a little more enjoyable!
