Dyson DC14 Vacuum —

I have a lot of kids. A lot of pets. A LOT of dirt. No one likes to vacuum. But it has to be done, right? Especially with kids with allergies. And when company is coming.

I have killed many vacuums. There's not a Hoover that can survive this household. Oreck bit the dust almost immediately. And Kirby? Oh, my goodness, that thing was so complicated I felt like my bachelor's degree should have been rescinded. And it was not even up to the task. So finally, I bought a Dyson. And it is WORTHY.

  1. The Dyson has great suction. If the suction seems sluggish, it means there's a clog.
  2. To find the clog, all you have to do is look. Most of the Dyson is clear, so you usually can see where you've sucked up a crayon, or an art project, or a quarter.
  3. If you can't see it, no problem. ALL the parts come apart, easily. Truly. You just shake out the offending object, snap the part back into place and proceed.
  4. When the clear collecting jug is full to the line, you empty it over the garbage with the push of a button, and snap it back on the vacuum. Even my kids can do it!
I've had this vacuum for a couple of years now, and it's working as well as the day I bought it. It is worth every penny. I am truly happy to recommend this product. And if I could kiss the Dyson designers, male or female, I would.
