Dyson DC14 Animal Vacuum Review

Purchasing the Dyson DC 14 Animal Bagless Upright Cyclonic Vacuum was one of the best purchases I have ever made.  My sister has one and she's the one that told me about it and I'm so glad she did.  Although it is more expensive than a lot of vacuums out there, it works so well and picks up even the embedded dog hair from my two dogs.  It has a handy retractable wand that lets me use it up high to get those nasty spider webs, vacuum curtains, and handy attachments to do those other types of jobs like vacuuming upholstered furniture.  This is a solid vacuum that won't wear out any time soon.  Even my husband, who used to swear by canister vacuums has been convinced that this is the best vacuum he's ever used.  I'm quite spoiled because he does a lot of cleaning for me and almost always is the one doing the vacuuming.  I know that Dyson has created a newer model that has a "ball" for better manuevering, I won't need to purchase a new vacuum any time soon.  The only downside is that it is a little heavy (especially when compared to the Orecks) but it's not too heavy that it's impossible to use.  To me, it just means that it is made well and solid and will last for many years to come.  I wouldn't trade my Dyson in for another vacuum!
