Pros

    excellent customer service, relatively quiet, Gets the job done, Easy to empty with no mess, No clogs, easy to take apart at any juncture

Cons
    costs a bit more, a little heavy

Love, love, LOVE this vacuum! The suction truly is amazing and it really takes care of pet hair. With my old vacuums (vintage Kirby, recent model Hoover) I found that the vacuum would blow the pet hair away before I could suck it up - not with the Dyson! I also found that the brush action and lack of adequate suction in my old units had a tendancy to result in dirt being projected under the vacuum and back toward my feet, but that's not the case with the Dyson! The suction is so powerful that it even gets the dirt from under my area rugs - without me having to lift them up! And the tools and attachments are easy to use and durable.
