Dyson DC07 Pink Vacuum  —

The award winning Dyson DC07 vacuum has taken the place of my beloved Kirby.  I have been looking at them for some time now and the prices have always made me back away.  When my daughter bought one because of animal hair she couldn't believe how well her vacuum sucked up fur and dirt that couldn't be seen with the naked eye.  When the Black Friday Target ads came out and there was a Dyson on sale for $349 plus a $100 gift card I decided it was time to buy.  I have only had it for the day but I am already kicking myself that I didn't buy one sooner.

I started out by vacuuming with my old vacuum then vacuumed with the new Dyson.  "Wow!" is all I could say.  I kept saying "Wow!" over and over again.  I just couldn't believe how fast the clear bin was filling up.  The cyclonic action sucked up two year old cat hair [I know it is at least that old because that is how long the cat has been dead.] and dog hair so fast I had to empty the bin after three rugs.  It sucked up fine sand dirt from the front door rug and made the colors in the rug seem to intensify with their new found cleanliness.  In fact, all of the carpets look as if they have been cleaned.  Amazing!

The vacuum is certified asthma and allergy friendly according to the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America.  With its HEPA filter and the way the hygienic clear bin empties with the touch of a release button it will be such a blessing to our allergy prone household.

This model comes with a long cord, a reversible wand and a stair tool, brush tool and crevice tool.  The five year warranty and the fact that I will never have to buy bags are both  pluses in my book.

Did I mention it is pink?  argh! I would like to give this four stars because this vacuum doesn't have the ball technology and doesn't come with a lot of accessories [and the fact that it is pink] but for the money you can't go wrong.  The cyclonic action works so well that I can overlook those shortfalls.  I give it five stars even though I don't care for the pink color [Did I mention it is pink?] because it reminds me that a portion of my purchase is going towards Breast Cancer Research.  That's a good thing.  I can imagine it is a beautiful deep burgundy...

The pink vacuum color can only be purchased through Target.

I had no idea that Target carried the Dyson!! I love your comments on pink ;+) Lately I've been contemplating replacing my vacuum. My mother buys a really cheap upright years ago and it was durable and really worked. I get an expensive one and it sucks--but no it doesn't have good suction power! I had to borrow my best friend's vacuum Monday to get the carpets real clean for the family party; which I missed because I was in the hospital. See comments and the board on praying for Gigi to get an update.

I think a pink vacuum cleaner would compliment some of my decor.

Great review! Hugs to you--I've been missing you ;+{ ~Gigi
