My husband and I got married this summer and we both agreed that we needed to get a new vacuum cleaner with the gift money we received. I think he was almost more excited than I was about this purchase. The vacuum is ready to use right out of the box! We had to rock-paper-scissors for who got to use it first!! I won!! I used it for about 5-10 minutes and completely filled up the canister- its actually pretty gross to see what the old vacuum cleaner was leaving behind!! Emptying the canister is definitely and outdoor-two person job!! We have two dogs (a dorkie and a bichon) they don't shead very much but the vacuum picked up everything!! I would definitely recommend this vacuum to anyone with dogs or cats. I also have asthma, so I really needed a vacuum that didn't create a lot of dust. Its got a great filter that you can clean yourself every six months. The vacuum comes with lots of attachments- some I haven't even used yet- great for cleaning out the car as well!! My one complaint would be that the hose is a little stiff and can make it difficult to clean in tight spaces. You may think that the price is a little ( or a lot) high for a vacuum cleaner, but I see it as an investment, its a great product that will clean my house for years to come.
