While this vacuum tends to be pricier than most, it is by far well worth it! The suction is awesome. There are no bags to replace, no filters to replace. I haven't had any problems with the machine since purchasing it fourteen months ago. I live with my wife and stepdaughter plus my two daughters visit every other weekend. Between the long hair from the black lab and the girls' long hair, the brush bar has only clogged once. The attachments are great, although the extension hose is not quite satisfactory for reaching all the way up the stairs. Great ergonomics for carrying from one floor to the next too. And extremely easy to empty.
