Dyson DC07 Animal Bagless Upright Cyclonic Vacuum Review

Durability

• I have owned this Dyson model for over two years
• Vacuuming for a household involving three girls (ample amounts of long stringy hair), 2 dogs, and a cat.  Although the vaccum has never lost suction, I noticed this past month or so that it was not collecting hair from deep within the carpet as effectively as normal.  I flipped over the vacuum, easily detached the carpet brush, and cleared out enough hair to have filled up the entire canister.  Over the past two years, the vacuum continued to work effectively despite the knots of pet/female hair/string/etc. clogging the brush.
• Vacuum a variety of substances including litter my cat kicks out of her box, as well as dried poop if necessary.  On occasion, I have vacuumed metal objects including bobby pins, nails, screws, etc.  A clicking noise is heard as the item taps against the canister.  However, upon emptying the canister, no problems arise.

Versatility

• The variety of attachments supplied with the vacuum are essential for cleaning pet hair off of delicate upholstery (curtains, couches, etc).  The hardwood floor tool is also effective in replace of a broom (even the best broomer can never sweep up all of the floor particles).
• I neglected to know about the handle extension feature until accidentally stumbling upon it several months later.  The intuitive design eliminates clutter and excessive surface area on the vacuum.  In addition, this tool increases the ease of cleaning stairs, cobwebs from ceiling corners, under beds, curtains, etc.
