I bought this vacuum with high hopes as I have owned a Dyson upright and well as a hand held vacuum with good success. However, this vacuum has some serious design flaws. The suction if great but only if the cleaning attachment is off. The rotator to clean the carpets does not work correctly in my opinion. At least 1/2 of the suction is lost and it does not spin correctly. Oftentimes the dog hair I am vacuuming up end up sticking to the wand because it is not being properly suctioned. The vacuum has worked like this since the day I took it out of the box. I would opt for an upright again versus the canister as I am using my casiter with the wand, no attachments only. Maneuverability The vacuum is great on the stair, it actually sits on the stairs. It is also abled to be moved around, will righten itself easily if upside down. Suction Performance Poor only for the attachment which is supposed to clean the carpets. The wand without the attachment has great suction.
