Dyson Animal Vacuum Review

I have the Dyson Animal.   I love this vacuum.  I have had this vacuum for a couple of years and I can say that if for some reason it broke tomorrow I would take out a loan if I had to and get another one.  It is a bit pricey, however, totally worth every cent.

I have 3 cats, a dog, a 3 year old son, and a very messy husband.  This vacuum never disappoints.  I have had just about every other type and brand of vacuum out there.  Every one of them got clogged regularly.  I use this vacuum every single day, multiple times a day and it has never gotten clogged.  Also, it has not lost any of its suction.

I would consider myself to be a clean freak.  My biggest thing is clean floors.  I cannot stand dirt on my floors.  I have carpet, laminate, and area rugs in my home.  This vacuum goes from one to the other with no  problems.  It does not do the "shoot the dirt out the back" thing when going from carpet to hard floors.  Most of the other vacuums I have used did this.  The edge cleaner is also great.  It picks up dirt or hair that gets right up against the wall without having to get the on-board tools out.  Speaking of the on-board tools, they are great as well.  I would never use a vacuum that did not have on-board tools.  To me, they are a deal breaker when selecting a vacuum.  The wand never clogs and the suction is great.  I have cleaned out my fireplace with the wand and it did a great job.  The other vacuums I had always clogged when I tried to do this.

This vacuum has a filter that must be cleaned every 6 months to ensure the vacuum continues to run properly.  Very easy to clean.  Just water, wring out, let dry overnight.  I also clean out the canister and cyclone tunnels with warm water a few times a year.

Although pricey, $400.00 - $600.00, it is worth it in the long run.  It will be the only vacuum you have to buy.  Instead of buying cheaper vacuums and having to replace them every year, invest in this vacuum once.  You won't be disappointed.
