Dyson Animal DC17 All Floor Vacuum Reviews

I wont ever get a different brand of vacuum. My mother had used all sorts of vacuums growing up and they all stunk...literally. This vacuum makes the air smell so clean after. The hepa filter is absolutly amazing. I just got a house and have two cats. I can't imagine living without this vacuum. After we bought it, I brought it over to my mothers house so she could try it. She couldnt believe what it had sucked up.

When I ran it, I thought that the company had just filled the tubes with dirt so when you started the vacuum you saw a ton of dirt. NOPE, holy smokes the DC 17 sucked up so much right...

ok - so yes it is expensize....BUT I have 2 dogs (husky/shepherd and full blood shepherd....have you seen how much comes off those dogs?!?!) plus I also foster dogs so this thing works great!!!

After years of wasting money on upright vacuums, filter bags, and broken belts, we bought a Dyson Animal DC17 and I could not be more pleased!  The Dyson Animal cost more up front but saves so much money in the long run not having to replace other upright vaccum cleaners that tear up within a year.

The only reason I say that I'm an owner is that I invested too much into the vacuum to toss it out!!!

I am an owner of a full time child, one part time weekend child, a medium hair cat, a english mastiff, and a boston terrier.

I was at first in HEAVEN and grossed out all at once during the first initial handful of uses.

This product is a champ!  I had owned a Dyson previously (yellow - not sure on the model number).  When my ex-wife moved on, I lost that vaccuum.  So, after using a hand me down, I was ready to get a new model.  I do have two dogs, so I was intrigued by the animal concept.  I have to say, it gets all the hair up off my rugs!  I have wood floors, so that is easy to maintain, but the area rugs seem to trap a lot of dirt as well as animal hair and dander.  I am amazed each time I vaccuum at how much more clean my rugs are and the volume of "stuff" it sucks up.

A friend brought over her new Dyson Vacuum for me to try as I was coomplaining about my carpet looking terrible.  I used my old vacuum (oreck) just before she brought the Dyson.  I could not believe how much pet hair and dirt I vacuumed up.  I had to empty the cannister three times.  Didn't take me long to order one for myself.  My carpet looked so much better...I would say at least 70% better than it had.  I try to vacuum about every 3rd day and I still have to empty the cannister before I can use it again.  My daughter has a Dyson (for over a year now) and she says she loves it as much...

The Dyson Animal DC17 is the best vacuum I have ever owned. I was very skeptical because of reviews I have read and the cost. But I have owned it for more than a year now and I love it, it has great suction power and the attachment also has great suction power unlike every other vacuum I have owned. And no more filters !  I love it!
