Dyson Animal DC17 All Floor Vacuum —
I purchased the Dyson DC17 several months ago. It came with three attachments. There is a crevice tool, dusting tool, and a fabric tool. The Dyson DC17 has excellent suction and cleaning power. I am very pleased with the cleaning. My carpets look much better since I have been using it. Some of my rugs recommend turning off the beater brush when vacuuming. I find that I have difficulty in pushing the vacuum when the brush is not rotating. The telescopic wand is nice. It is easy to just pull the wand out and put it back without having to go through the extra steps of attaching a hose. This operation works really well. The hose is a little stiff but I am hoping it will loosen up with use. Overall, I am pleased with the Dyson DC17. It is a little pricey when compared to some other popular and well known brands. But the cleaning power has proven to be superior and it is worth it. It also comes with a much longer warranty than some of the other vacuums I have owned. Having been a homemaker for 34 years, I have owned quite a few vacuum cleaners. This one is the best one I have owned.Last edited on Oct 16, 2008
