Dyson Animal DC17 All Floor Vacuum Review

This product is a champ!  I had owned a Dyson previously (yellow - not sure on the model number).  When my ex-wife moved on, I lost that vaccuum.  So, after using a hand me down, I was ready to get a new model.  I do have two dogs, so I was intrigued by the animal concept.  I have to say, it gets all the hair up off my rugs!  I have wood floors, so that is easy to maintain, but the area rugs seem to trap a lot of dirt as well as animal hair and dander.  I am amazed each time I vaccuum at how much more clean my rugs are and the volume of "stuff" it sucks up.

 The vaccuum is so powerful, it feels as if it is self propelled.  The salesman I spoke with assured me it is not, but it works so smoothly, it requires much less effort.  I am also impressed with the volume while using the unit.  It is not nearly as loud as other vaccuums I have owned (including the previous Dyson).

The price on this thing is not something for which you exchange the change in your couch.  But it really has made a difference in the cleanliness of my house as well as the amount of time necessary to accomplish this.
