I bought this vacuum just because it was a Dyson and I am very glad I did. It was very pricey, so I waited a while, saved some gift cards and coupons and went for it! This vacuum was so worth it. I can use it throughout my whole house, rugs and hardwoods. You really can empty it without getting your hands dirty. I like the fact the attachments are right on the vacuum. It makes doing steps easy. There is no losing parts and no extra storage for them. This vacuum is great all the way around.
