Probably the most unique fact about Dwell Magazine is that it manages to keep its ideas at a certain level of livability, even though it focuses on unusual and creative home design. Many magazines that offer alternative designs (whether for the home or something else) would take the weirdness factor to the extreme, alienating the average reader in the process.
