I like this DURABRAND PDV-709 9 in. Portable DVD Player. I bought this a couple of years ago to replace an older portable DVD player when it quit working. My family and I were going on vacation to Florida and I wanted to have a DVD player for my kids to watch movies while we were traveling. I began to look around for an inexpensive portable DVD player that had good reviews and found this one. The reviews were right. It is an excellent DVD player. It is compact, yet has a large enough screen to watch movies and be able to see all the action. It is very easy to use with the buttons readily marked with what they do. It came with a remote control so that if it is between two people, it is still easy to stop or start. It has places to hook into a television, a computer and a place to plug in headphones. This would allow everyone to watch a video at the same time at a motel. You would just need to bring the cables to hook up to the television and the DVD player.
