Duke's is the only mayonnaise we use at our house. I did not grow up with Duke's being from the North, but when I got married my husband introduced me to Duke's and since then Duke's is the only mayonnaise we use. It is creamy, thick, and has the perfect flavor for sandwiches, salads, and whatever you use mayonnaise for. The ingredient list is short and it doesn't contain a lot of chemicals and junk that some other mayo's contain. I can't imagine chicken, tuna, or egg salad without Duke's and I won't eat a BLT without Duke's! Duke's also makes a light version of their mayonnaise, but I have never tried that variety. If we ever move away from the South I will be stocking up on Duke's before we leave and when ever we visit! No other mayonnaise can compare to Duke's. I never thought there could be so much difference in brands, but Duke's stands out and as far as I am concerned Duke's is the best and only mayonnaise.

When I lived in the deep south Duke's was always available. It was the only kind my mother bought for our table. I know that it tasted great on everything she made. When I moved farther north it wasn't on the shelf at my grocery store. Believe it or not I had my family to bring me Duke's mayonnaise whenever they would visit me. Now it is in my grocery store and what a delight to be able to buy it again. It makes a sandwich of any kind even better. I especially like it in salads because it is the creamiest you can find anywhere. The flavor is always consistent and the texture smooth. It's even available now in a squeeze bottle for picnics or to go anywhere. I love it because it's not expensive but I would pay more for it if it were because it's that good!

the best mayonnaise can't use anything else. have never seen anyone in my home town use anything but dukes mayonnaise. love this product and always will. i don't know anyone how doesn't love dukes mayonnaise. would never buy any other mayonnaise never. my family and i love dukes mayonnaise.

I think I've tried every brand of mayonnaise on the market and totally hate just about every one! There are some I can tolerate but others just make me gag! Duke's mayonnaise is the best by any standard! It tastes great! I can make a sandwich and use it and love it, I can put it in mashed potatoes and it makes them creamier and tastier, I can put it in just about anything and it makes things more enjoyable. I am usually not brand loyal when it comes to food but I'd never substitute any other mayonnaise for Duke's because there are no others on the market than can come close in comparison! I'm a Duke's fan for life!!! I highly recommend it to everyone! You'll become Duke's lovers too!

My mother made the best potato salad ever! She passed her recipe down to me when I got married and have made it the same way for years, however, with a different brand of mayonnaise. It was good but lacked the creaminess of my mother's salad. She was originally from the south and I noticed that her recipe called for **Duke's Mayonnaise**. When I lived up north I could not find it in our local supermarkets. We later relocated to North Carolina where I found **Duke's Mayonnaise** and could not wait to try it! We love to [grill][1] outdoors especially in the summer and my family begs me to make Momma Margaret's potato salad. I purchased a jar of **Duke's Mayonnaise** and followed her original recipe to the tee. Low and behold the **Duke's Mayonnaise** was the missing element. It's unique creamy flavor sparked the ingredients making it taste just like mommas. My family also loves it on their sandwiches. Nothing compliments lean deli meats like **Duke's Mayonnaise. **As someone [watching my weight][2] the only down side of **Duke's Mayonnaise** is that one tablespoon is 100 calories per serving and 100 calories of fat per serving. But I would totally skip dessert just to have it in my potato salad. In my opinion and I'm sure every southern cook would agree, Duke's Mayonnaise is the only mayonnaise that's good enough to honor momma Margarets famous 'Tator Salad! As far as I am concerned, Duke's is the only mayonnaise. It is the only mayonaise I will use in any of my recipes. Chicken Salad is NOT chicken salad without Dukes. Potatoe Salad is NOT Potatoe Salad without Dukes! Egg Salad is NOT Egg Salad without without Dukes! Same with Tuna Salad! See what I am getting at? I am a true Southerner and I have to have Duke's. My entire family and all of my friends love my Chicken Salad,at least that is what they tell me!As far as I know there are NO secrets in my chicken salad.Duke's just has that creamy texture that is truely "to die for!!". Duke's has been used in family recipes since 1917 and it is manufactured right here in the Good old USA! To top that off it is manufactured in the SOUTH, Richmond Virginia! Duke's is the best of the best! Without Duke's Mayonnaise I will not attempt to make chicken salad. It simply will not be the same without Duke's mayonnaise.The only thing I see wrong with Duke's Mayonnaise is that it has 100 calories per tablespoon. Dukes Mayonnaise is also delicious on sandwiches!

When my husband and I first got together he insisted that I try this mayonnaise. So I bought it and was not pleased with the taste. To me Dukes has a weird aftertaste that tastes almost fishy to me. I have tried it on a number of different things and ways and the taste is still off to me. Not the mayo for me!
