Beauty divas often disagree about beauty products and DuWop Lash Lacquer Mascara is no exception. This is a two sided mascara with a clear top coat that is supposed to seal the mascara, gloss the lashes, and make them water resistant and smudge proof. While our reviewers agree that the mascara does lengthen and add some volume to their lashes, many don't see what the fuss is all about with the to coat. It doesn't seem to do anything, they say. Add to that the fact that the mascara is runny and makes our reviewers' pretty faces streaked with black when the slightest amount of water is in contact with their lashes, and you have some miffed ladies! Then again some reviewers were fine with the performance but felt DuWop Lash Lacquer Mascara was overpriced at about $19.00 a tube. One side has the color and the other side has a clear top coat that's supposed to separate lashes and provide an "ultra-glossy, water-resistant, and smudge-proof finish".

Great mascara, but overpriced as many are. I don't understand how so many mascaras are so highly priced, so this one is right in line with them. The product itself is good, goes on well, nice brush. The Verdict: I used DuWop Lash Lacquer three times which was 2 times too many. Blah.
