Our Hotpoint electric clothes dryer has become a true friend of the family. Even if the 35- year-old dryer conked out today, it would do so having served its purpose well.
I didn't use the modern appliance much during its first five years, because electricity was just too expensive for the budget, especially since the only thing needed for the clothesline to perform its magic was a day of sunshine and a bag of clothespins. Maytag Neptune Dryer
We bought our Maytag Neptune Dryer a few years back right before they were discontinued. I had my eye on this set when they first came out and wanted to have it. When my old Maytag washer finally gave out, no I didn't try to kill it, we bought this new set and I am very happy with it. I have always been a Maytag fan and that is the only washer and dryer brand I will buy- Yes you can say that I'm a Maytag snob. :o)
Kenmore Elite Steam HE5 Dryer
Already had the repair guys out 5 times in 3 months. The concrete weight broke in half, the drum struts stretched out, it jumped all over the place and scratched up the side of the washer. NOISY and unable to maintain proper balance! I can't get the famous Sears service to fix it right! Will never buy Kenmore again!
