For Christmas last year, I received a set of Dryer Max Dryer Balls as a gift.  When I first saw them, I just kind of stared at them blankly.  I had NO idea what they were.  It was actually quite funny because just the look on my face was all that was needed to create a roar of laughter among my family members.  Come to find out, these dryer balls are no joke.  They work great!

These are nice because my daughter does not like the smell of fabric softerners and these ball still let you keep the static cling out of you clothes.

I purchased the dryer balls after some reviews online to see if they were worthwhile.  I decided that to be more effective, I probably needed two packages, as that is what most reviewers suggested.  I purchased the packages (4 balls total) and took them home with high hopes, but wary none the less.  I am happy to say that I have been using my dryer balls for almost 1 year, and have not purchased dryer sheets or fabric softener in that time.  I don't notice ANY difference in the softness of my towels or other clothes that would indicate that I didn't use any softener.  I love the fact that...

These things worked ok for say about two months. After that I didn't see any difference in laundry, was still using dryer sheets and that annoyed sound of them bouncing around the dryer was starting to get to me and my family.  Then one of the dryer balls burst apart.! they suck in my opinion. very displeased.

Got these at the NY state fair last year. My daughter always takes them out and I put them back in. I think they are very helpful when doing towels or other heavy dryer loads.
