I am a freshman at Drury University and am loving it. I have 14 hours and the classes aren't too hard or too easy. The professors here are extremely willing to help with anything. Some even invite you to their homes. We have a lot of international students. Approximatly 50% of all Drury students study abroad.  The three dormatories are nice, and single rooms are availabe. It is a liberal arts school. For more information see the website,http://www.drury.edu/ .

Drury University has consistently been rated as one of the best values in midwestern universities in the united states. Current student enrollment is approximately 5,000 total with about 1,800 being full time day students. This is a university where everyone knows your nam.Friendly students, staff and professors all walk down the sidewalks, speak to you by name, smile and are super friendly. Springfield is a very friendly community with very low crime, solid mid western values and population is about 150,000 making this a comfortably sized city. Access is great to Interstate 44 and proximity is...

I'm from Joplin, MO which is about an hour from Springfield. Joplin is a town of about 100,000 thousand people, and it has a state university which is where I started out my academic career. After 2 years, I was bored with the school there so I decided to move up to Springfield to attend college. I started out going to Ozarks Technical Community College, but I decided to transfer yet again because the classes were unchallenging and I did not feel like I was going to a "real" college. I had a good friend who attended Drury and highly recommended it. This semester was my first at Drury, and I can... review »

I am in my third year at Drury majoring in Public Relations and Spanish.

Drury is a liberal arts school with small class sizes that offer more personalized attention.  The school promotes 'green living' by providing free recycling, guest lecturers and will begin building a new arena that will be a 'green building'.  Parts of the education are also focused on what we as a community can do to help the environment.  Drury offers a Global Perspectives Minor which focuses on how we can be better global citizens.
