Unless you do none of your own work at home, one of the most valuable tools you can own is a power drill.
A trip to either The Home Depot or Lowe's might convince you that unless you have the latest, greatest lithium powered portable drill you are seriously challenged. I say no.

Craftsman Wrenches
A must have for my job. I've always heard good things about Craftsman and I agree having owned my wrenches for 5+ years now. I broke one on the job and it was such a simple replace at Sears for a new one. You really can't beat that especially if you depend on your tools to feed your family and make a wage. Easy to clean up, and work especially great when in conjunction with other Craftsman tools. I carry them with me everyday to the various job sites and haven't been disappointed yet.
Very reasonably priced for what they are.
Ridgid RIDGID 18V Lithium-Ion Compact Drill Driver
I use this drill all the time for work as a Electrical Tech, this drill travels easy because of its compact size, but don't let the size fool you, it is pretty powerful and does a great job. I travel all over the United States and Canada with this drill and it fits in my portable tool case with ease. My other drill I have is too bulky to travel with. Rigid tools seem to be built tough and good quality. You woun't be disappointed."

I bought this Dewalt 18V cordless drill for my Husband a little over a year ago. After having gone through several other name brand corded and cordless drills we decided to bite the bullet and spend a little more for a quality product. Most of the other reviews of Ryobi cordless drills seem positive, but I'm returning my second 18V Lithium drill, model P815, to Home Depot tomorrow and buying something else. I liked the feel of it and it worked well -- when it worked. In August, 2009, I bought the package which included the drill, two compact batteries, and a charger. I took it home and charged the batteries and checked them in the drill. They both worked, so I left one in the drill and put the charger, extra battery, and drill back in the storage bag.
