I don't normally buy an album before listening to it, but I took a chance with "The Dresden Dolls," and was not disappointed. Singer/Songwriter Amanda Palmer displays her skill as a writer (with extra servings of irony), as well as with her wide vocal range. Brian Viglione adds his talent at the drums to Amanda's rock piano, creating a sound unique to their duo band. This album features their hit "Coin-Operated Boy," as well as eleven other songs - each of which speak for themselves. Your music collection is not complete without "The Dresden Dolls."
