Dr. Sue - TLC First Animal Hospital - Chicago, IL —

My pets have seen Dr. Sue for years.  We have followed her to numerous clinics and now she finally has a permanent home which is state of the art.  She is compassionate, and thorough and a great vet overall.  She is in the know with all the latest and greatest treatment techniques.  She takes a personal approach with every client and gives you the time needed to ask questions.  She took excellent care of one of my cats who would hiss, and growl at her.   But she handled him effortlessly.  She was one of the only people who would care for him.  Because of Dr. Sue he lived an extra two and a half years after being diagnosed with kidney disease.  She tried everything to give him the best quality of life despite how he treated her.  And so now I wouldn't trust anyone else to care for my two new cats.

Thanks so much Dr. Sue!!!!

I am so glad to read your review on Dr. Sue. I also had a cat who could not be handled by anyone else, she would hiss spit and growl as well. She was sweet as pie at home but always hated going to the doctor, but Dr. Sue was the only vet that we had taken her too that was able to handle her diva attitude. My husband and I sat in awe as she was brave enough to put her hands in the cat carrier to get her out. Our cat didn't like it and continued to hiss, but Dr. Sue was amazingly calm and made us feel so comfortable. Unfortunately our kitty ended up being diagnosed with cancer at only 5 years old, but for 2 months Dr. Sue honestly tried everything possible to prolong her life without suffering and we are very grateful for everything she did for us. Our kitty is now in a much better place and is no longer suffering. Dr. Sue and her staff are so supportive and I will take my next pet to her and her alone.
