By far, the absoulte BEST diaper rash ointment I have ever used.

5

When my son began to eat solid food, he had something that didn't agree with him and he got a horrible rash. I tried everything...Desitin regular and maximum strength, A&D, you name it.....all those just seemed to make it worse. We took him to the doctor for it because I was worried that nothing was clearing it up and he would scream bloody murder every time we had to change him. His doctor gave us some samples of this, and told us to use a warm, soapy washcloth instead of wipes and to use this ointment. After only a few changes, his rash had cleared right up! I was actually shocked, because we had spent days and days trying everything we could think of to get rid of it and ease his pain. I would definitely recommend this to anyone! Performance A+ in my book. When something works so well and so fast it shocks you, I would say that is awesome performance.

cleared up the diaper rash in a day!

My baby had this awful red, raw, diaper rash when she started eating solid food, and nothing would clear it up. We have tried Desitin maximum strength, Bordeux Butt Paste, A & D, Aquaphor, Triple Paste, and even the prescription Nystatin. All of those somehow did not work, some even made it worse. One of our pediatricians gave us a sample of the Dr.Smith's diaper ointment to try, and after 4 diaper changes, the red-raw diaper rash finally cleared up! I honestly didn't think it would when i got the sample because when i read the ingredients it said 10% zinc oxide which seemed to me like it's such a small amount, but boy was i wrong! This stuff really worked!! I'm recommending this to everyone!! Performance Cleared up diaper rash in 4 applications/diaper changes.

best diaper ointment ever

5

i used this diaper rash ointment on my 4 month old, after using almost every rash treatment out there and it is the best i have ever used. i have a older child that had diaper rash constantly and never found relief until he was potty trained. i used one time and her diaper rash was gone the next morning.it can also be used as a moisturizer which is nice.

My kids would still have a red bottom without it.

While my girls were little, diaper rash was rampant.  When I applied this product, the redness was gone in a day.  My girls would even bring it to me to put on becuase they knoew that it would make them feel better.  If we have any problems even now, I don't hesitiate do use it.

Dr. smiths diaper ointment works great

4

I have purchased and used the Dr. smiths diaper rash ointment for my babies and it has worked great. I have been very pleased with this diaper rash cream. This diaper rash cream does clear up most diaper rash pretty quickly. I have tried many different diaper rash creams for my babies and toddlers and I think this is a good one. I try to keep more than one brand of diaper rash cream incase one might work better than the others at times. It is creamy and a little bit goes a long way. It is not that thick though but it still seams to coat the skin to protect it and help heal. My pediatrician did recommend that I use this diaper rash cream. When my kids have had more of a severe diaper rash my pediatrician recommended that I use this cream. Unfortunately this is a more expensive diaper rash cream and I can not afford to use it all of the time. So I really use the Dr. smiths diaper rash ointment when all of the other diaper creams are not working. I think this it a really good product and definitely helps to heal the diaper rash.

Best stuff around!

Tried them all, this stuff works!!!!! This cream really helped both my children's diaper rash. I use all the time with every diaper change now. Cured the redness, bumps and pain they were having with diaper rash when we traveled. I also used this on my son's cheeks for his excema. It helped to relieve the redness. I've had friends who have used this on burns and it helps the healing. This stuff works for more than just diaper rash. I like the fact that it is not too thick or thin. I've seen it in tub form or a tube. The price is a little higher than others, but so worth it. It really works fast. It is easy to wipe off between diapers too. If you get some on your clothes it washes off easily. This is a really good product. I highly recommend. Also, if this stuff doesn't relieve it, it is probably a yeast infection and then you would need to use a fungus cream like athlete's foot cream or monostat 7. Yes, babies get that too.

Worth every penny!

We used this with all 3 of our kids. Our pediatrician recommended it with our first baby and when I saw the price tag, I thought he was crazy.  So I tried some cheaper stuff, but when your baby is crying because she is raw, you give in and spend the money. I never bought anything after the 1st time we used it. The formula is very thick, stays on the skin wonderfully. We used it preventively with our daughter because she was prone to diaper rash.  And whenever the kids had to be on antibiotics, we would automatically start using Dr. Smith's to prevent the raw bottoms that would follow. Great stuff. Made in San Antonio, TX, so you are supporting USA products. We still keep it on hand as a chaffing cure.

I love Dr. Smith, I use ot for all my babies diaper needs

5

This is one of my very favorite baby must have products, I buy it for all my friends when they are having babies, and make sure I have some in both diaper bags and the changing table. I love this diaper cream.   I have 5 kids and another on the way and I have tried several types of diaper cream over the years until I found this one and I have never used anythign else again. I love how it coats babies skin but doesn't stick so hard that you can't wipe it off at each diaper change and reapply clean. I love how it smells, and yes, it is a bit pricy but worth every penny. You don't have to use much to cover babies skin and it heals baby so quickly you don't have to use it very long. It is also good for chapped baby cheeks and rough knee skin from learning to crawl. I am about to have baby #6 and I need to make sure I have some for her before she gets here, I trust Dr. Smith's to work quickly and help my baby feel better, if there is a problem.

Dr. Smiths ointment didn't work for my child

1

My son had got a slight diaper rash on his bottom so i immediately went to our local Pharmacy and asked for the best diaper rash that they had or one that they recommend. Not even caring how much it would cost me i just wanted something that would help ease my child's bottom. So they recommend me the Dr. Smiths diaper ointment so without hesitation i bought the ointment because even on the bottle it said "Dr.".So i went home applied it after every diaper change, after bath-time, and before bedtime. I did this for three days and was seeing any improvement so i thought maybe i  still needed to do this for a week. Well a wk later i noticed that there was no improvement but that the rash was just getting red-er. So, i stopped using it and started with another rash ointment called revenoo and i seen improvements in a day literally. So so my advice to mothers just because a bottle says Dr. recommended it might not always work for your child.

Dr Smith's Diaper Ointment stays put

5

Dr. Smith's Diaper Ointment is the only diaper ointment we use. It's thick consistenence is what makes it so good. You put it on the little bottom and it doesn't budge until you wipe it off. That's important when you are trying to protect your baby's bottom from a rash. Most diaper ointments are actually just lotions and are light weight the diaper ends up wearing most of it not your child. We have a bucket full of other diaper creams that we tried once and didn't like. We prefer it so much that we stock up and always buy 2 when we buy so that we are never without Dr. Smith's Diaper Ointment.
