I am VERY careful about what I allow my children to watch. They don't see a lot of television, and what they do is PBS. Most movies have too much violence or name calling or other bad themes. This movie was okay. It did scare my daughter a little (she is 4 yrs old) and didn't keep her attention as well as Wall-E did. She also did not like the Kangaroo who treated her child very poorly and was mean to other characters. I also did not like that they made a crack on homeschoolers-- "Pouch-schooling"
I think this movie would be best for children a little older, maybe 6 and up. They need to be able to follow a lot of dialogue. I would also be aware of some scary scenes and poor treatment of kind characters, especially for children that are more sensitive.
Bright animation and lovable main characters.
