Dr. Scholl's, Dr. Scholl's for Her Pumice Foot Scrub —

Dr. Scholl's for Her Pumice Foot Scrub

I like doing my own manipedi's and like all women, I like having soft smooth feet, my husband appreciates it too.

I'm not big on using a foot file or pumice stone, I just don't like the feeling against my heels. I've been using Dr. Scholl's for Her Pumice Foot Scrub since March and I like the results.

It's not a really thick cream like many exfoliating scrubs are, it has more of a liquidy texture and just the right amount of "scrub" ingredients to do the job right.  It contains Water, Pumice, Mineral Oil, Petrolatum,Sweet Almond Oil, Glycerin, Stearic Acid, Jojoba Seed Extract,  Urea, Peppermint Oil, Vitis Vinifera Extract, Shea Butter and Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice.

This is easy to use, no foot soaking necessary if you don't want to. Simply apply to wet feet and massage over all areas of particular dryness or roughness. I even work it up to my lower legs if they're feeling extra dry. When done, rinse off the excess and your feet will feel softer, look glowing with circulation, feel cool and a bit tingly because of the added peppermint oil. The moisturizing ingredients help soothe and soften skin, especially heels. The minty scent is not overpowering and the grains aren't too rough.

This may not be perfect for those with really hard callouses but it does help tame the dry flakies with use. Product can be used every day if necessary, I usually do a good scrubbing about once a week or so and my feet stay silky soft. The only gripe I have with this product is the size, it's 3.5 ounces and costs around $7.00. I tend to use it up rather quickly but, because I like the way it works I'll continue to look for it on sale and repurchase.

My take: this is a good exfoliator, it aids in ridding feet of rough spots and dryness.

After exfoliating, I follow with an application of Dr. Scholl's for Her Ultra Overnight Foot Cream for maintenence. I'll be writing a review about it as well.
