I first saw Dr. Nelson because my little princess Chloe, a 9 month old mini dobe, jack russel mix was showing signs of pregnancy. Fist off she was to young to be having children, she might die during pregnancy, and secondly the only daddy could have been her brother. Spaying a dog while she is already pregnant is a very risky procedure that no doctor wanted to take on. The clock was ticking and finally I was highly recommended to Dr. Nelson because he specializes in high risk procedures.

I expected the procedure would be pricey but Chloe was too young to be a mama and I wasn't ready...

Dr B and Dr Nelson,

They are 2 of the most caring vetinarian's I have ever met. Our black lab was hit by a car and another vet saw her for the 1st 24 hours and he was all about the money. We took her across the street to Dr B and he was able to care for her immediately and then we took her home and took care of her with him calling morning and night to check on her. The same dog tore her ACL and Dr Nelson told us the pros and cons about surgery and he did the surgery for us and she recovered and is doing Very well. Again the compasion of these 2 Dr's is what a dog lover should be looking for in...

Dr. Rudd Nelson has taken care of all of our pets.  He was originally recommended to me by a neighbor that was a retired Vet and took her animals to see him.  He has watched over our family brood of 6 dogs.  We have a few "lab mix" (LOL) pups and 2 chocolate labs He is bright and caring with both pets and their families.

I would never hesitate letting either Dr Nelson or Dr Bruns watch over our animals.  We have complete faith in them.   We'd be lost without them.

I have taken my dog to Dr. Nelson for 8 years.  He has always been honest, compassionate and dedicated to providing quality care to her.  He has been available to talk when I've had questions, has gone the extra mile with after hours visits, and has provided honest feedback as my dog has aged and been ill.  My dog has Cushing disease and was given a life expectancy of 1 1/2 years--that was 7 years ago.  Dr. Nelson has gone above and beyond to make sure all of her treatments have been successful and that she is comfortable.

Dr. Rudd is a great vet and passionate for his work. I took my dog, Zouk, to him after stuggling 2 years with "hot spots". I could not find a vet that was able to help Zouk.

Dr. Rudd was able to put him on a drug that has worked fabulously! No more scratching, biting or licking! He even gave him the pills at his cost because of it's price. Zouk is a new dog. Dr. Rudd really cares about his patients.

I highly recommend Dr. Rudd to anyone who is looking for a fabulous vet as well as a great person!

I took my Bassett Hound to Dr. Nelson for removal of a malignant tumor. Both the Doctor and his staff were wonderful and very knowledgeable! I would recommend Bayview Animal clinic to anyone!

Dr. Rudd Nelson and Dr. B are great they allways want whats best for my dog instead of whats best for their wallets. also one of the only vets that dosnt look down on my dogs breed (Cane Corso) and are not scared of him. seriously my dog actually looks forward to going to the vet he love not only Dr. Nelson and Dr. B but all the staff there and he even played with Dr. Nelson's kids the last time he was there. if you want good vet that truly loves animals and will do whats best for your dog this is the place for you

Dr. Nelson was able to extend my 15 1/2 year old Min Pin's life an extra 6mos- 1 year with better quality of life through the use of natural herbal medications. The Kidney and liver disease that he had would have taken his life sooner if I had not met Dr. Nelson.  As a chiropractor, his approach to care naturally was important to me.

Dr. Nelson is an honest genuine person. Not originally from Florida, a definte midwesterner through and through.  He has shown compassion and personal care for my dog since he was a puppy. I would highly recommend him to anyone!
