Dr. Scardetta is awesome!

intolerant of long waits, picky, conscious of credentials, hate to have dental work, take good care of my teeth, desire prompt doctors, looking for insurance compatability, appreciative of good service

I hate a severe dental phobia due to bad service I received when I was 19. It took me six years and anti-anxiety medication to finally be able to brave the dentist's chair. Dr. Scardetta was referred to me by 2 friends at work, and boy, that was a good referral. He accepts my insurance and doesn't do the claim form thing, which is a huge bonus. Appointments are pretty easy to get and I never wait more than 5 minutes to get in the chair. I had some really bad teeth, and was very happy that he didn't chastise me for it. It's easy to get an appointment, and I've never waited more than five minutes to be seen. My last appointment was to have a filling replaced, and I was in and out in under 20 minutes! He massages your gum while administering the novacaine, which makes it virtually painless. The entire staff is efficient, professional, attentive and caring. When I mentioned that my daughter had commented about my not-so-white teeth, he picked up on it and explained their teeth whitening services - but was never pushy.
