I can not tell you how much I adore my OBGYN. I have been going to her for 3 years and I would never go to any other! Dr. Parul Gupta (Chicago) is not only well read in the medical field, but she is compassionate and offers highly personalized care. When I go into her office, I feel like I am visiting an old friend.
My first encounter with Dr. Gupta was at Evanston Northwestern Hospital at 3am in the morning. I was hemorraghing after childbirth, and she was the doctor responsible for saving me from bleeding to death. Her quick decision making and surgical perfection not only saved my life, but left me nearly scarless. Her chronic visits and after care, along with outstanding bedside manner during my recovery were impeccable.
It was a no brainer after that extreme case that I would switch doctors and Dr. Parul Gupta would become my primary OBGYN. Dr. Gupta cared for me during my 2nd pregnancy (6 months later)-- considered HIGH RISK and delivered my daughter. She took extreme caution during my pregnancy and was with me every step of the way. She did everything she could to ensure I would not have the same thing happen again. She even went so far as to promise me that she would be there for my delivery-- no matter what! (she worked in a larger practice, so this was a huge commitment)
I can not imagine seeing another doctor after having such exceptional care from her. Dr. Gupta is one of a kind and I can not speak more highly of her. She is exceptional in every way. If only every person were soooo lucky!
