I have used Dr. Brown's plastic bottles for a few months with my son. I will admit they were expensive, but they were needed for that period of time. The down fall of the bottles is that there are so many pieces to the bottles. I actually ended up losing a lot of the pieces and of the set I may have 2 complete bottles left. With all of the pieces it was a lot to wash and sterilize. Mixing in the bottles was hard! You have to put this plain lid on to combine the formula. Then you have to put the pieces on and then the nipple and then seal piece. Then finally you have to make sure you have it sealed right. The plus side to those lids? Well the plus side is you can store some formula! Which is great for middle of the night feedings grab and go! Now the huge downfall that I had with these is when I lost any pieces I would have to go out and buy a whole new bottle. They did not sell the insides separately.

My wife and I now have a five-month-old. We have used several bottles along side Dr. Brown's and have found that we have had a harder time getting our son to latch to the other bottles than the Dr. Brown's. The blue colic preventor that is put into the bottle is a pain to wash but it does what it is supposed to do. My son does not spit up as much with the Dr. Brown's than he has with other bottles. These bottles were also recommended to me by a family member and I am glad I took his recommendation. Leak Prevention We have accidently gone over the fill line on some of the bottles and it does leak if you surpase the line. That is the only time I have found leakage but I blame myself for that and not the manufacturer. Ease of Cleaning The bottle does require a brush and that part is super easy to clean the inside. The colic preventor is the only difficult part to clean depending on how thorough you want to be with cleaning it.

These bottles are okay but I would definitely look at an alternative instead of Dr. Brown bottles. I bought a set of them for my son and they would leak uncontrollably. It didn't matter how many times I would take them apart and put them back together they would still leak. We bought the 9 oz. bottles and the smaller 4 oz. bottles. Neither seemed to live up to what I have read from other people using them. They are suppose to help with bubbles in the formula but my son seemed to be more gassier and fussed more. He absolutely hated the shape of the nipple, not to mention the feeling of being soaked from it leaking constantly. After about a week of trying these we decided to throw them in the trash and never look back. There are a lot of different parts you have to put together as well. I would also recommend, if these work for you, if you are using powdered formula to premix the formula because the powder can get up into the tube in the middle and cause a lot more problems. Based on my experience I would not recommend these bottles.

I have had five children and after my third I received these bottles at my baby shower and I have fallen in love, they are now the one and only bottle that I will ever use for my children or that I would recommend. My children were all pretty fussy babies and all had acid reflex pretty bad. These bottles helped immensely with their reflex compared to any of the other bottles that I had tried, and I tried them all. These bottles helped to reduce has bubbles to their tummy's as well, which kept them a lot more comfortable. My youngest also had colic and these were recommended by her pediatrician along with one other brand. I tried the other brand and her symptoms became a lot worse, so back to these we went. You do need to buy the different stage nipples as the children get older with these bottles, but that didn't bother me as the old ones do tend to wear out. The bottles are easy to clean and do not leak at all for me ever. I still have many of these bottles after three children and they are still lasting as good as ever, great bottles.

I received this box set as a gift for my baby shower for my 2nd child. I used Playtex bottles with liners for my 1st and had planned on using the same for my 2nd child. However, my son (2nd child) needed to use specialty formula for acid reflux and needed to change bottles. I decided to give Dr. Brown's a shot and I am very pleased with this product. My son clearly showed easier feeding with the Dr. Brown's bottles and did not have any gas or spit up after feeding. The bottles are easy for me to hold and I like the slim bottle shape. The only downfall I have with these bottles is that the bottles tend to hold odors well. For example, I washed a bottle with dawn and after drying the bottle, I noticed a strong dawn fragrance from the bottle. This is easily fixed by just and extra rinse or two. The vents in the bottle can be a pain to clean, but it is worth the extra time to clean to make sure my son has an easy feed.

Great product overall helped with my son's gassy stomach they soothe him very well as well as a great shaped nipple that my son really loves Leak Prevention I have noticed some small leaks from the rim of the bottle when mixing the formula up but other than that, I haven't had any leaking during any of the feedings Ease of Cleaning This is the only thing that I don't like about the dr. brown's bottles you have to use their special brush to clean the small holes on the two extra inside pieces of the bottle instead of a generic bottle brush but it's not very difficult just more to keep up with and a little more work to do Keeps Air Out My son was having to burp a lot with every single feeding until I switched to Dr. brown's bottles, now he only does maybe once and I can see the difference in comfort he has when eating it Durability Very durable product, I use these every single day and they hold up very well even to cleaning in the dishwasher (top rack)

After reading many reviews, I purchased the Dr. Brown Deluxe feeding set. This set includes six-8 oz bottles,four-4 oz bottles, and two 2 oz bottles. It also includes Level 1,2,3,4 nipple(4 to each level)s and also six storage/travel caps and six cleaning brushes. I like how the set includes everything you will need for your infant's first year of feeding. The pieces are very easy to attach/detach to the various bottles. They are also easy to clean, as well. I have additionally purchased the dish-washing basket to assist with cleaning, but they are very easy to clean by hand. So far, my child has has no issues with upset stomach/gas. This is one of the advantages of the design of Dr. Brown's bottles. I have used this set for the past three months, and I have had no complaints. The bottles are durable, and I have not had any issues with leaking. I would highly recommend including this set on a registry; they make a great set for both breast feeding/formula feeding moms.

I used these bottles with my daughter...I got the gift set in 2008 when my daughter was born. There are some good and bad things about this bottle. The bottle started off and hit all the spots that I expected. I have to say close to after 6 months the bottle starte to leak by the seal area, it was pretty annoying that was a down side for me. Then when I had to wash all the parts of the baby bottle it took so much time. Besides those problems, this bottle is excellent, my daughter never really spit up at all with this bottle. She had no problems with it at all and she loved it. That's my only complaints. It leaked after a couple months of use, even the new ones I bought afterwards, and it was a lot of things to wash :(

Most bottles keeps gas on babies stomachs but this bottle eliminates the vacuum and air bubbles, to help reduce colic, spit up, burping and gas. It also eliminates the negative pressure so it can help reduce build up in the baby's ear. Babies also feed more comfortably because the vents allows babies to nurse without ingesting air. Its so easy to clean them also especially with the cleaning brushes that comes in the deluxe set. The glass make of the bottle is also essential because they will last longer than normal plastic bottles. Even after the use of the bottles they still look brand new. I would recommend to any expecting mother because these are excellent and they do very good for the babies sake as well as the mothers sake.Anyone who is looking for a good brand for their baby,this is the one to get!
