Most HelpfulMy daughter was a colicky and gassy baby-- not something that I wish on anyone! She was not a fan of breast milk, so we looked to other options. We tried nearly every baby bottle and every baby formula maker. No luck. She was still fussy.
Then, we discovered Baby's Only Organic Baby Formula, and our...

Most HelpfulI think one thing that every parent needs to realize is that not every baby is the same - I know, I know what an insight!
When my baby was first born he was quite "colicky"(or had colick, was colick etc...) as they called it at the hospital. Now let's check out what was happening in the mind...
review »Before my baby girl was born, I did a lot of reading about new baby products (because our kids have quite an age difference and a lot of new stuff have come out recently), and Dr. Brown's bottles were the only bottles to get a popularity award from parents/readers of American Baby magazine. That caught my eye, so we bought these bottles for our baby. I know many people complained that they are hard to clean, so I immediately set up a convenient system of cleaning them - I put a basin of soapy water by the kitchen sink and once the baby finishes her bottle I disassemble it immediately and put it...
review »I love these bottles and my son was not colicky. I had a lactation consultant who actually recommended these when I was not producing enough breast milk and needed to supplement. We had tried Avent bottles (actually received a whole "newborn starter set," but found that not only did they leak, but my little guy kept gagging for some reason (might have been a fluke). Once we switched to Dr. Brown's, the leakage and gagging problems were solved.
I know that others have talked about issues with cleaning all of the parts, but I just stick everything in the dishwasher - I have one of those mesh baskets...
review »I was devastated when I found out I wouldn't be able to nurse my son 2 years ago. I wanted him to have the best, and that meant a great bottle as well as the best formula I could buy.
Dr. Brown's bottles fit the bill!
They are a little pricey but I haven't had to replace a single thing due to wear (only to losing or destroying pieces out of carelessness.) Unfortunately, I haven't found them at either of the grocery stores I patronize, but I have found them at Babies R Us, WalGreens, and online. The best onlines prices I've found are at Kidsurplus.com. Replacing a vent or nipple here or there isn't...
review »Breastfeeding just didn't work for me. I wanted to be able to breastfeed my baby but I was not producing enough milk. I was forced to rely on bottles before going back to work in which I hoped I would be able to supply the sitter with breast milk to pour into bottles.
A friend gave me 6 Dr. Brown's bottles when she saw them on my registry stating that they made her baby's colic worse. I used Playtex nursers until my son was ready for more than 4 ounces and then began using the Dr. Brown's bottles and I am so glad I did! I never had any problems with my baby with these bottles. He...
review »When I first found out that I was pregnant, I was unsure about what bottles to use, which would be the best for my new baby. I had heard of many different kinds of bottles. I did extensive research on bottles. I asked many new and older moms. I decided to go with Dr. Brown's bottles. That was the BEST choice of a bottle for me and my son. My son had extreme colic and gas. The first question out of the doctors mouth was "What bottles do you use?" When I said Dr. Brown's, she said good, those are the best. They help with colic, gas and spit-up. They cut down on the air that the...
review »Although I feel the concept of Doc. Browns bottles is a good one the difficulty in keeping all the parts together and clean did not appeal to me. I have used these bottels a few times for gas/colic and there was no diff. it how our baby was feeling. After several months the parts became clogged and difficult to clean, I also lost the cleaning brush and parts to the bottle itself. Granted I was using these with newborn twins so maybe that is why I lost a lot of parts (sleep deprived and all) but it still wasn't worth the hassle.
This is review is about Dr. Brown's baby bottles. My daughter had her first baby in February of 2008. She purchased a wide variety of baby bottle types while she was pregnant and decided to use the brand that herbaby was going to be comfortable with. After her son was born, she tried each of the multi[ple brands and the baby attached himself to the Dr. Brown's bottles. In addition, she tried to breastfeed but was not successful. The baby did suffer from gas problems as well and the Doctor Brown's bottles did minimize the gas issues. These bottles seem to be very helpful in preventing and contolling...
review »Dr. Brown's Natural Flow bottles have been the best for my twins! They get pretty gassy, which makes them super fussy, but using these bottles has helped. Thankfully I received these bottles as a gift, as they are pretty expensive compared to other bottles. I am not sure if I would have bought them if I had not been given any. They also leak more than my other bottles, which is annoying and adds to the stress of having twins! But as long as you don't overfill them (they have a line to show you where to stop filling them) then they don't leak. They also have more pieces to wash, which is time consuming...
review »The Dr. Brown's line of baby feeding bottles are the best product for the best price that I've found. I've got four children from 7 months to 7 years, and I've done some shopping!! The bottles themselves are very high quality manufacture. The ounce markings have survived multiple children worth of washing and there's none of the clouding to the bottle that sometimes happens. The nipples last longer than my babies have needed them and even withstood the first stages of teething. But I think the BEST feature is the vent system inside of the bottle that keeps milk from leaking and dripping when the...
