Dr. Brown bottles are a life saver. I recieved my first Dr. Brown bottle at my Baby Shower. I am a young first time mom. I had been reading the parenting books, and browseing the shelfs at the super market. I waited till my shower before buying any, I wanted to ask my friends and family (parents themselves) what they used, didn't use, and what they wished they would have used. My Husband's Aunt gave us or first one, she made a big speech on how useing bottles that reduce or remove air from the inside of bottles reduces the risk of colic, ear infections, and gas. She also metioned drop in linners, but that means more mess, more hassle, more garbage and being a first time parent I had enough. They are easy to clean, assemble, and it reduces the air. By the time my daughter was a month old, I had purchsed two, four packs. My daughter loves them and so do I. My daughter will turn 1 on the 16 of this month and she wasn't colicy and hasn't had a ear infection ( knock on wood)
