I used Dr. Brown's bottles from the first day that I brought my twin boys home from the hospital.  They were recommended to me by an acquaintence and I am so glad that we had that conversation!  My boys are 2 years, 3 months and have NEVER had an ear infection and they were not spitters.  Today they have a healthy body and a very healthy appetite!!!  My nephew, who is 6 years old, was a spitter, had acid reflux, had ear infections often, and did not like to eat (still doesn't to this day).  When my sister in law had her second child in January, she used Dr. Brown's bottles and he loves to eat, is not a spitter, and has had no ear infections.  My mother and mother-in-law both believe that the bottles have made a difference in both my boys and my 9 month nephew.  I am happy to pay a few extra dollars and spend an extra minute washing the bottles to be sure that my boys have the extra advantage of being healthy!!!  Thanks, Dr. Brown!

I agree as well, my grandbaby is 7 months old and my daughter and I had done a lot of research on different bottles before Katelyn was born. We heard negative reviews because some mother's thought the bottles had too many parts to them. These women are nuts ...... you pop the beige cap onto the straw which then goes into the bottle - you attach the nipple to the cap - then screw the cap to the bottle. Wow - how complicated was that? Guess they rather have a screaming baby with gas pains then use this great bottle. We sure have a very happy 7 month old who loves her bottles.
