With our first two girls we used Playtex Ventair bottles and were fairly happy with them.  The technology seemed to be cound and effective, I really liked the angled bottle, but with so many part, they were a pain to clean and make in the middle of the night.  I started hearing about Dr. Brown's bottles when my middle daughter was still taking a bottle, but resisted the whole elitist feel surrounding them, feeling they were yet another product aimed at uber natural moms ie MUST be home birth, cloth diapers, organic home made baby food, vreatfeeding until they are two etc. moms who think caring...

Dr. Brown's bottles feature a patented internal vent which reduces air bubbles and helps to prevent fluid in your baby's ears. Bottles are compatible with breast feeding, and they help colicky babies settle down and sleep. They also reduce colic, spit-up, burping and gas and are easy to clean. These are dishwasher safe and include three 8 oz. natural flow standard bottles. Polypropylene bottles are BPA Free. Dr. Brown's Natural Flow baby bottle is the only baby bottle that features a patented internal vent system. This vent eliminates the air bubbles and vacuum effect to allow positive-pressure...

Our 1st son was in the NICU was 6 weeks, having multiple surgeries. He had some problems learning to suck properly as well as some minor spit-ups. When we were transitioning to bottles (since he couldn't breast feed), the NICU hospitalists and speech/occupational therapists recommended Dr. Brown's bottles.

We were a little skeptical at first, and it seemed like a lot of extra parts with the plastic tube and connector piece...but boy were they right! Our oldest son transitioned to this bottles and nipple types very easily and it really did seem to cut down on gas and spit-ups.

With our 2nd child,...

After trying several different bottles and being unsatisfied, we tried Dr. Browns and never had to try another one.  My son always spit up after his bottles, but he didn't with Dr. Browns.  The inner pieces really help cut down on the air bubbles therefore cutting down on gas.  People warned me about the pieces, but I didn't find them to be an issue at all.  They are easy to clean and well worth the results.

I have used many different types of baby bottles with my two children.  I have found that the best results regarding bottle feeding have come with the Dr. Brown's natural flow bottles.  The air chamber reduces the amount of air your baby swallows, and mimics breastfeeding the best.  I also like how they come with nipple brushes to clean with.  The only downside I have seen to these bottles is the mixing of powdered formula.  The air dispersing chamber can obstruct the mixing, allowing for some of the powder to clump at the bottom.

love, Love, LOVE Dr. Brown's bottles.  I have had 3 children with GERD now ages 9,7 and my youngest will be one in January.  She was a month early and born with an under developed GI tract resulting in GERD so bad that she has bouts of bloody vomit.  Those are conditions that no bottle can cure, but we have NEVER had a gas or colic issue with DR. BROWN'S.  With my oldest, we tried Avent, Evenflo and even those pain in neck nurser bottles...nothing compared.  Dr. Brown's has preemie nipples and knowing that my daughter was going to be early and nursing may be an issue, I even took a Dr. Brown's...

I ABSOLUTELY LOOK THAT DR.BROWN'S LINE OF BABY BOTTLES! IT WAS THE BEST THING THAT HAD EVER HAPPENED TO ME SINCE I WAS A NEW PARENT AND DIDN'T KNOW MUCH ABOUT BABIES. MY HUSBAND WENT TO WAL-MART AND BOUGHT THE PACKAGE OF DR.BROWN'S BOTTLES WHICH WAS ONLY LIKE 15 BUCK FOR ONLY THREE BOTTLES, WHICH I THOUGHT WAS A LITTLE STEEP AT THE TIME BUT THEY PROVED THEMSELVES TO BE WELL WORTH THE INVESTMENT AFTER A PERIOD OF TIME.  I STARTED USING THESE BOTTLES WITH MY DAUGHTER WHEN SHE WAS TWO DAYS OLD.  THE FORMULA FLOWED SO FREELY FROM THE BOTTLES.  IT WAS TRUELY AMAZING BECAUSE I WAS USED TO SEEING THE...

Dr. Brown's straw system bottles are unique and an interesting system.  Some children will benifit from the use of such a bottle, though ultimatly the baby will choose for their selves what they like. No matter how cute or inexpensive the botle may be, the infant, baby or small toddler will let you know if they like the feel of the delivery system. The insightfulness of such an invention helped to make my child more comfortable and that was worth its weight in sleep time.

I did attempt breast feeding with my last child, though my body had been so traumatized, with all of the anaesthesiaand...

I had heard alot of people give great reviews on Dr Browns baby bottles, " oh it's great, the bottles really help with gas" , or, " it's worth the extra money". So, I decided I would try them with my daughter, I went out and bought a set of them. Before buying the bottles I did research and saw how the bottles were designed, the had a straw like thing that connected to the nipple but came apart for cleaning, it said online that the straw in the middle cut down on air flow therefore reducing gas and spit up. I thought that it made sense and was logical. I tried them for a few days and didn't notice...
