Versatile, non-toxic and very effective.

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

I've used Dr. Bronner's liquid soap for a long time. Initially, I had bought two 32 ounce bottles of the soap (one in peppermint and the other in almond). They have dozens of uses and in addition to that, it's a good value per ounce. Both of those bottles lasted me about a year and a half because I didn't need to use a lot when I was cleaning. Usually a capful works to do the job. I only use if for cleaning, not for skin care or for a shampoo because I have sensitive skin and dry hair and it could be a little harsh on my sensitive skin. When I used it as a face wash, it made my face feel really tight and my hair was really dry. I don't know if it was because I used too much of it, but the peppermint essential oils do tend to have a drying effect. It's good as a laundry detergent, though. Anyhoo, the main reasons why I love this product so much is because it's a great value per ounce of the liquid, Dr. Bronner's soap is completely organic, non-toxic and biodegradable (which is good for the environment), it's incredibly versatile and the wrapper and bottle are 100% recycleable. Oh, and Dr. Bronner wrote many of his philosophies on the wrapper. He wrote many profound things on his wrapper. It's good to read while you have some down time.
