Tingles all over your body
Peace & LoveAn icon of the '60s and '70s, Dr. Bronner embraced an "all-one" philosophy of peace and love. His products are all-natural, organic, ecologically friendly and promote Fair Trade and sustainability.
Dr. Bronner's Tingles All Over !Dr. Bronner's pure castile peppermint soap is highly concentrated. You can buy it by the bottle, or by the gallon, at local health food stores. A shower with this soap will not be forgotten. There are some places on your body which, when exposed to Dr. Bronner's peppermint soap, will cause a reaction in your eyebrows, as they suddenly shoot skyward. (How's that for a tease?) This stuff is tingly, and cold, and fabulous! The company web site says the peppermint soap "increases vitality and clarity." I'm a believer! Be sure to check out the bottle's wordy label, which is as surprising and intriguing as its namesake. An Amazing Back StoryDr. Bronner, a master soap maker, had a falling-out with his family, and left behind the factory to which he was heir, when he moved to the U.S. in the 1920s. Shortly thereafter, the Germans nationalized his family's factory, and then his relatives were killed by the Nazis. Dr. Bronner consulted for U.S. soap companies for a while, before striking out on his own, promoting love and compassion, and ecologically friendly products. Though Dr. Bronner died in 1997, his company is alive and well, and has further expanded on his philosophy, adding more Free Trade products, and using environmentally friendly packaging.
