Dr. Bronner's liquid soaps have been a mainstay in natural food and health food stores, with good reason. It's a true soap rather than a mix of synthetics that make foam and strip one's skin of all natural oils, making it a much gentler choice for any skin type.

The peppermint is especially fun. I've always loved the tingle of peppermint essential oil, and Dr. Bronner's is perfectly touched with the organic essence. Not only is it a very kind Good Morning to yourself, but it's great anytime you need reviving as well as a shower. Aromatherapists often use peppermint essential oil as a refreshing scent, finding that it's a great pick-me-up at all times of the day. Peppermint is also slightly astringent, making this variety of the Dr. Bronner's line a great choice for people with oily-to-normal skin.

I love this one, and spoil myself by getting a bottle--it's very reasonably priced (I found it listed as low as under $9.00 for 32 ounces around the Internet--save even more by checking your local organic grocery sections or health food stores) but since I make most of my own body products, it's a splurge to pick up a bottle of this one even as reasonably priced as it is.

In fact, I think I'll be wandering over to one of those myself tomorrow--it's been awhile since I spoiled myself.

Dr. Bronner's makes a wonderful wash for produce, too, at huge savings over what you will pay in a natural foods store. Just dilute about 7 parts water to one part soap and put in a spray bottle. I've been using this for many years as a produce wash, with very good results. It rinses completely and doesn't leave a soapy taste. It may also be the ultimate camping product. It washes dishes, clothes, dogs, and people out of one little bottle. Just remember to dilute!!

I bet this stuff is great on a super hot day or in my case sunburned...like the peppermint. Nice to see another from Wisconsin too!

I've seen this at Whole Foods and wondered if it was good. I'll definitely give it a try now. Thanks and welcome to Viewpoints!
